Abba perform together for the first time in 30 years
Swedish pop icons ABBA performed together for the first time in 30 years over the weekend.
According to BBC News, the foursome reunited to celebrate the 50-year partnership between songwriters Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. During the evening, singers Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad performed the Abba song 'The Way Old Friends Do' and were joined at the end of the song by Ulvaeus and Andersson.
This marked the first time since 1986 that the foursome had performed together. They originally split in 1983, but reformed for a single night three years later on the Swedish version of TV show This Is Your Life, which was honouring their manager Stig Anderson.
It is not the first time since their split that they have appeared together, but it is the first live performance.
The group, who have sold over 400 million albums during their career, have always stunned offers to reform, even reportedly turning down an offer of $1 billion to tour the world in 2000.
