AC/DC cancel the rest of their US tour as singer Brian Johnson risks permanent deafness
AC/DC have been forced to cancel the rest of their tour after singer Brian Johnson was warned he is going deaf.
The band, who are touring in support of new album Rock Or Bust (which you can preview and purchase on the right-hand side of the page), have halted touring immediately after Johnson's diagnosis.
They have posted an update on their official website, which says that Johnson "has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss".
They also state that they intend to reschedule the shows, of which there are around 10, later this year, but they will play "likely with a guest vocalist".
Johnson has been the band's frontman since 1980 after he stepped in to replace founding singer Bon Scott. He has recorded 12 albums with the band.
