Adele, Florence + The Machine, Foo Fighters nominated for BBC Music Awards

Adele, Florence + The Machine and Foo Fighters are among the nominees for this year's BBC Music Awards. 

There are three categories in all at the awards, the first is British Artist Of The Year and will see Adele, Florence + The Machine, Jamie xx, Foals, Ed Sheeran and Years & Years face off.

The second is International Artist Of The Year, an award which will be contested by Foo Fighters, Hozier, Prince, The Weeknd, Major Lazer, and Taylor Swift. Finally there is BBC Live Performance Of The Year, an award which Adele, Jeff Lynne's ELO, Florence + The Machine, Lionel Richie, BBC Radio 1's Ibiza Prom and 1XTRA's Grime Prom are all nominated for. 

The ceremony will take place on December 10th at Birmingham's Genting Arena and will see the likes of Rod Stewart, Faithless, Mumford & Sons, One Direction and James Bay on the night. 

The awards, which made their debut last year, will once again be presented by Fearne Cotton and Chris Evans. Ellie Goulding, The Shires, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot, Hozier, OMI, Jack Garratt and Jess Glynne will also play live. 

Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams were the big winners in 2014, which saw the likes of Take That, Clean Bandit, Coldplay, George Ezra, Labrinth, Ella Henderson, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Gregory Porter and Calvin Harris perform live.
