Arcade Fire to headline Isle Of Wight Festival 2017

Arcade Fire are to headline Isle Of Wight Festival 2017.

The band, who are currently working on the follow-up to their 2013 album Reflektor, will make their only UK festival appearance of 2017 at the event.

Speaking about the booking, Isle Of Wight Festival head honcho John Giddings said: "I’m so happy to have secured Arcade Fire as our first headliner. David Bowie recommended them and I’ve been a fan ever since. Last year was an incredible year and I’m ready for us to come back even better in 2017."

Isle Of Wight Festival will run from June 8-11th next summer. Arcade Fire will headline the festival's Saturday night on June 10th.
