Ben Howard extends his 2015 arena tour

Ben Howard has extended his UK arena tour, after selling out London's Alexandra Palace in 10 minutes.

The singer, who has just released his second album I Forgot Where We Were (which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page), will now play eight dates on the trek, with a second date added at Alexandra Palace.

The run of shows kicks off at Liverpool Echo Arena on April 13th and runs until April 25th when Howard headlines Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena. He will also play shows in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds and Glasgow on the tour.

Howard has previously confirmed to hmv.com that he was looking to take on arenas. Asked if he fancied playing arenas, he said: "I would like to pursue that and I feel like it’ll be on this album that we do. I think the album suits big places, I wouldn’t get carried away with it, but I’d love to try it.”

Tickets for the tour went onsale today (October 31st) at 9am and you can find full details of how to get them here.

Ben Howard will play:

Liverpool Echo Arena (April 13)

London Alexandra Palace (16, 17)

Birmingham National Indoor Arena (20)

Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (21)

Leeds Arena (23)

Glasgow SSE Hydro (24)

Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (25)
