Beyoncé, Eminem, Iggy Azalea dominate the nominations for this year's VMAs

Beyonce, Eminem and Iggy Azalea lead the nominations for this year's MTV Video Music Awards. 

The nominations were unveiled this morning in Los Angeles and the awards will be given out on Sunday 24th August in a ceremony at the city's Forum venue. 

Beyonce picked up eight nominations, including Video Of The Year for her collaboration with husband Jay-Z 'Drunk In Love', she is up against Pharrell Williams, Sia, Miley Cyrus' infamous video for 'Wrecking Ball' and Iggy Azalea in that category. 

Both Eminem and Iggy Azalea scored seven nominations each, with 5 Seconds Of Summer, Kanye West, Lorde and Imagine Dragons also well represented.
