Bloc Party announce first UK shows with new line-up

Bloc Party have announced their first UK dates with their new line-up. 

The indie rockers have replaced founding drummer Matt Tong and bassist Gordon Moakes with Louise Bartle on drums and Justin Harris on bass and have spent the last few months working on their fifth studio album. 

They will play their first shows in the UK with Bartle and Harris in December at the end of a full European tour, playing Manchester's Albert Hall on December 3rd and London's St John's Church on December 4th. Tickets will go onsale on Friday (September 4th) at 9am, click here to purchase tickets from hmvtickets.com. 

The band, who now consist of frontman Kele Okereke, guitarist Russell Lissack, Bartle and Harris, have been previewing new material at a number of intimate shows in the US, but have yet to release any new music or announce details of their new LP. 

Bloc Party's last album Four was released in 2012.
