Blur preview The Magic Whip with new track 'There Are Too Many Of Us'
Blur have previewed their new album The Magic Whip with new track 'There Are Too Many Of Us, which you can hear by scrolling down and clicking.
The album is the band's first since 2003's Think Tank and their first as a four-piece with Graham Coxon since 1999's 13. It will be released on April 27th and has been produced by Stephen Street.
The Magic Whip was recorded by the band during an intense five-day session in Hong Kong in 2013 and then finished up in subsequent sessions at the end of 2014. It is their first album for 12 years.
The band have also confirmed that they will be headlining London's Hyde Park on June 20th as part of the summer's British Summer Time Festival, with support from the likes of Drenge, Metronomy, The Horrors and Roots Manuva.
Blur join Kylie Minogue, Taylor Swift and The Who in headlining the event, which will take place across the last days of June this summer. Minogue headlines the event on June 21st, with support from Grace Jones and Chic with Nile Rodgers, The Who will headline the park on June 26th, with support from Paul Weller, Johnny Marr and the Kaiser Chiefs, while Swift tops the bill on the 27th with support from Ellie Goulding and John Newman.
