Coldplay confirmed as first headliner for Glastonbury 2016

Coldplay have been confirmed as the first headliner for this summer's Glastonbury Festival. 


The festival will run at Worthy Farm from Wednesday 22nd June to Sunday 26th June this summer, with Coldplay headlining the festival's final night. 

Coldplay, who released their latest album A Head Full Of Dreams in December of 2015, are the second act to be confirmed for this year's festival. Previously Jeff Lynne's ELO had been confirmed for a Sunday afternoon slot at the event.
