Coldplay installed as favourites to be third Glastonbury headliner
A rake of new acts were added to the Glastonbury line-up earlier this month but the question on everyone’s lips is exactly who will join Foo Fighters and Kanye West in headlining the world’s most famous music festival.
One prominent bookmaker has installed Coldplay as the favourites to be revealed at a price of 3/1, with the Stone Roses just behind at 4/1 and Madonna and Blur both on 5/1.
Others presumed to be in with a shout include Taylor Swift (6/1), Elton John (7/1), Oasis (8/1), Rod Stewart at 20/1 and, if you feel like throwing your money away, One Direction have been given a price of 25/1 to headline Glastonbury.
Joining Foo Fighters and Kanye West on the bill this year will include Florence + the Machine, alt-J, Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, The Chemical Brothers, Suede, Mark Ronson, Pharrell Williams, Hot Chip, Father John Misty and many, many more.
Glastonbury will take place between the 24th to the 29th of June.
