Coldplay, One Direction, Ed Sheeran to perform at first ever BBC Music Awards

Coldplay, One Direction and Ed Sheeran are among the acts who will perform at the first ever BBC Music Awards. 

The awards, which will take place at London's Earls Court on December 11th, will also see Clean Bandit, Paloma Faith and Calvin Harris perform live. 

The event, which is jointly looked after by BBC One, Radio 1 and Radio 2, will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and Chris Evans. 

Awards on the night will include British Artist of the Year, International Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. Amongst performances from the biggest and most iconic names in music, a special place will be reserved for one of BBC Introducing’s hottest talents.

The show will be broadcast live on BBC One, Radio 1 and Radio 2. You can buy tickets for the event here.
