Death From Above 1979 return with new song 'Trainwreck 1979'

Death From Above have returned with a brand new song titled 'Trainwreck', which you can hear at the bottom of the page.

The track, which was premiered last night (July 7th) on Zane Lowe's BBC1 Radio One Show, is the first to be showcased from their new album The Physical World, which is due for release on September 9th.

The album is the follow-up to the band's much-acclaimed 2004 record You're A Woman, I'm A Machine, and follows the duo's decision to reform in 2011 for a full world tour.

The Physical World has been produced by Dave Sardy, who has worked with the likes of Oasis, Manic Street Preachers and Nine Inch Nails, and will contain tracks titled ''Right Talk', 'Frankenstein!', 'Cheap Talk' and 'Virgins'.

The band will be undertaking a short UK tour in October, playing shows in Manchester, London and Glasgow.

You can pre-order Death From Above 1979's new album in hmv stores across the UK now.
