Dougie Poynter reveals what he wanted to call McBusted's debut album

McFly and McBusted bassist Dougie Poynter has revealed that he wanted to title McBusted's debut album 'Hot Singles In Your Area'.

Speaking to hmv.com about the band's debut album, when asked if they had always wanted the album to be self-titled, Poynter replied: "There was a whole list of titles, we did a whole list and a lot of different set ups for the photo shoot. I wanted to call it 'Hot Singles In Your Area', but sadly that didn’t make the cut…"

McBusted will release their self-titled album on December 1st, including hit single 'Air Guitar', which you can hear at the bottom of the page.

The album contains a total of 12 tracks, with the three more included on the album's deluxe edition. McBusted will undertake a massive UK and Ireland arena tour next year, you can get full details of that here.
