Ed Sheeran announces huge Irish show for this summer

Ed Sheeran has announced a huge Irish show for this summer.

The singer, who will also play three massive dates at Wembley Stadium in mid-July, will headline Dublin's Croke Park on July 24th this summer.

Speaking about the show, Sheeran said: “I always love coming back to Ireland. Irish audiences really are among the best in the world. I am so looking forward to stepping onto that stage in the magnificent stadium that is Croke Park on Friday 24th July.”

The singer is touring in support of his second album X, which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page.

Tickets for the Dublin show will go on sale at 9am on Thursday 26th February.

Sheeran's Wembley dates will run from July 10th to July 12th and will see him play to 240,000 people over the three nights, a total that exceeds the attendance of any festival in the UK, including Glastonbury and Reading Festival.
