Electro duo Darkside announce that their band is "coming to an end"

Darkside, the electro duo consisting of Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harington, have announced their decision to go on an indefinite hiatus.

The pair released one acclaimed album named Psychic (which you can preview on the right hand side of the page) together in 2013 and have toured across the world. They were due to play in London last weekend as part of the cancelled Jabberwocky Festival. They will now play their last gig on September 12th at Brooklyn’s Masonic Temple.

Announcing their decision on Twitter, the pair wrote:

As a parting gift, the pair have released two new songs 'What They Say' and 'Gone Too Soon', which you can hear below. Both tracks feature on Work, the new compilation album from Nicolas Jaar's subscription-based Other People label. The album will be released on September 29 and also features new music by Jaar.
