Fats Domino dies aged 89
Fats Domino has died at the age of 89.
The singer, who was born Antoine Domino Jr in 1928, died earlier today surrounded by his family. He passed away in his native New Orleans, where he lived for almost all of his life.
The singer began his musical journey in 1949 and would go on to sell more than 65 million records across his career.
Domino, whose hits included 'Ain't That A Shame' and 'Blueberry Hill', was among the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
