First bands for Reading and Leeds Festivals 2015 to be announced tonight (November 25th)

The first bands for next summer's Reading and Leeds Festivals are to be announced tonight (November 25th).

The festival will take place over the weekend of August 28th - 30th next summer and organisers will confirm its first swathe of bands at 7pm tonight.

The second batch of tickets for the festival will also be put on sale today at 9am. You can find more details here.

Among the bands linked with headline slots at the festival next summer are Mumford & Sons, Kasabian, The Libertines, Florence & The Machine, Metallica and Linkin Park, but we must stress these all remain simply internet rumours.

Reading and Leeds Festivals were headlined in 2014 by Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182 and a co-headline slot from Queens Of The Stone Age and Paramore, with supporting slots from Disclosure, The 1975, The Courteeners, Enter Shikari, Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg, A Day To Remember, You Me At Six and more.
