Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie announce new album

Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have recorded a joint album, which will be released in June.

The album, which is simply titled Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie, will be released on June 9th and is available to pre-order on the right-hand side of the page.

You can see the album's artwork below:

Speaking about the album, Buckingham said: "We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically. The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, ‘what took us so long?!!’”

Christine McVie added: “We’ve always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiralled into something really amazing that we’ve done between us.”

The album was recorded at The Village Studios in Los Angeles and also features Buckingham and McVie's bandmates Mick Fleetwood and John McVie on drums and bass, meaning only Stevie Nicks did not contribute to the album from Fleetwood Mac.
