Foo Fighters add a huge Irish show to their 2015 tour
Foo Fighters have added another huge show to their UK and Ireland stadium tour next summer.
Dave Grohl and co will headline Ireland's iconic Slane Castle, which has a capacity of over 80,000, on May 30th next summer.
As well as this, the band, who have just released their new album Sonic Highways (which you can preview on the right of the page), will play five stadiums across the UK, meaning their UK and Ireland tour now has six dates.
The run of shows begins at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on May 25th before the band move on to Manchester's Old Trafford County Cricket Club on May 27th and Slane Castle on the 30th. They will then play two shows at London's Wembley Stadium on June 19th and 20th before finishing up at Murrayfield on June 23rd.
Iggy Pop and Royal Blood are confirmed to support at the Wembley shows, with the other supports still to be confirmed.
The band have been linked with a headline show at this year's Glastonbury Festival, and, perhaps tellingly, all of the festival's dates remain free on their schedule.
Foo Fighters will play:
Sunderland Stadium Of Light (May 25)
Manchester Old Trafford Country Cricket Club (27)
Slane Castle (30)
London Wembley Stadium (June 19, 20)
Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium (23)
