Foo Fighters announce full details of new album Concrete and Gold

Foo Fighters have announced full details of their new album, which is to be titled Concrete And Gold.

The album is the follow-up to the band's 2014 album Sonic Highways and will be released on September 15th. It will be available to pre-order on hmv.com in the coming days.

Concrete And Gold is the band's ninth LP of their career and has been produced by Greg Kurstin, best known for his work with Lana Del Rey and Katy Perry.

You can see the album's artwork below:

Speaking about the album, frontman Dave Grohl said: "I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever. To make a gigantic rock record but with Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that."

You can hear the album's lead-off single 'Run' by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking. They headline Glastonbury Festival this weekend.
