hmv's Next Big Thing... #142 Trudy And The Romance

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you Scouse doo-wop pop trio Trudy And The Romance...

Who Are They?

Scouse trio Trudy And The Romance have been a going concern since 2014 and consist of singer/guitarist Oliver Taylor, bassist Lewis Rollinson and drummer Brad Mullins. After a very successful support slot with The Big Moon and a string of excellent singles, they're definitely one to watch...

What Do They Sound Like?

Take everything you associate with 1960's, flower pop, The Beatles' glorious melodies, The Beach Boys' more psychedelic flirtations and choruses that will stick in your head for a long time, well that's the sound we've got here.

Why Should I Be Excited?

Gorgeous harmonies and lush melodies, it's a nice combination.

Can I Hear Something?

Please enjoy their new single 'Is There A Place I Can Go?', it's below for you:
