hmv's Next Big Thing... #147 Fickle Friends

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you day-glo dance poppers Fickle Friends...

Who Are They?

Brighton fivesome Fickle Friends formed in 2013 and consist of Natassja Shiner, Harry Herrington, Chris Hall, Sam Morris and Jack Wilson. They've spent the last two years touring and releasing jam after jam, all without a label backing them. But now they've locked up with Universal imprint Poldyor and are hard at work on their debut album with 1975/Take That producer Mike Crossey.

What Do They Sound Like?

Take the sunniest chunks of Friendly Fires, add a dose of Tove Lo style scandi pop and a dollop of classic Banarama and you've got Fickle Friends.

Why Should I Be Excited?

Bright and colourful melodies, insatiable choruses and sunny vibes, it's a nice summer throwback as we head into winter.

Can I Hear Something?

You can indeed. Their new jam 'Hard To Be Myself' is below for your listening pleasure...
