hmv's Next Big Thing... #27 Forever Cult

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you Leeds' Forever Cult and their shonky indie punk...

Who Are They?

Forever Cult hail from Leeds and consist of Kieran Clark, Aaron Snowdon and Alex Greaves. Formed in 2012, they've picked up plenty of buzz with a splendid EP titled Fuxx and lots of excellent gigs.

Who Do They Sound Like?

A perfect blend of doom-laden indie rock and driving slacker punk, think early Nirvana, Sonic Youth at their most coherent and Weezer if they'd spent a lot of time listening to Kyuss.

Why Should I Be Excited?

They're an awesome live band and they make incredible songs. That'll do right?

Can I Hear Something?

Course. Their new single 'Winter's Glow' is below for you and available to purchase here in our digital store.
