hmv's Next Big Thing... #28 Sundara Karma

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you Reading indie upstarts Sundara Karma and their glorious indie grooves...

Who Are They?

Sundara Karma are a foursome who hail from the sunny streets of Reading. Formed in 2011 they've released a string of excellent EPs and toured as much as they can, including gigs with Circa Waves and The Wombats.

Who Do They Sound Like?

This is lung-bursting indie, the drive and power of Arcade Fire, the grit of vintage Bruce Springsteen and the choruses of Sam's Town era The Killers.

Why Should I Be Excited?

They just write this incredible, colossal songs, the kind that make your heart swell. Incredible.

Can I Hear Something?

Their new single 'Flame' is below for you and their early cuts are all available here in our digital store.
