Indie veterans Ride announce reunion and UK tour
Ride, the indie band that featured former Oasis and Beady Eye guitarist Andy Bell, have announced that they will be reuniting next year.
The band have not played live together for almost 20 years, but will reunite in 2015 and undertake a tour that includes slots at Field Day and Primavera Festival.
Ride consisted of Mark Gardener, Andy Bell, Laurence 'Loz' Colbert and Steve Queralt and released four albums during their eight-year career, 1990's Nowhere, 1992's Going Blank Again, Carnival of Light, which came out in 1994 and Tarantula, which was released in 1996, the same year they split up.
After Ride split, Bell went on to form new band Hurricane #1, with whom he released two albums. He joined Oasis in 2000 and the followed Liam Gallagher and bandmates Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock into Beady Eye.
Ride's reunion tour will consist of three UK dates as well as string of European shows and their slot at Field Day. Tickets go onsale on Friday (November 21st), you can find full details here.
