Iron Maiden have previewed their new album The Book Of Souls with new track 'Speed Of Light', their first new music in five years, click below to listen to the track.

The band's new album is the follow-up to their 2010 album The Final Frontier and will be released on September 4th. You can pre-order the album now by clicking here

The album was recorded in France in late 2014 and early 2015 with the band's long-time producer Kevin Shirley behind the controls.

The Book Of Souls is Iron Maiden's first ever double album and despite only having 11 tracks, clocks in at a fearsome 92 minutes in length. The band have confirmed they will tour in support of the album next year.

It is the band's 16th album of their career and the first since 1984’s Powerslave to feature two tracks written solely by Bruce Dickinson, one of which is the longest song the band have ever recorded.
