Iron Maiden to headline Download Festival in 2016

Iron Maiden are to headline next summer's Download Festival.

The legendary metallers will bring their new album The Book Of Souls (which you can preview and purchase on the right-hand side of the page) to Donington Park next summer as they headline the event for a fourth time.

The festival will take place from June 10th to June 12th in 2016 at Donington Park with Iron Maiden headlining the event's final night on June 12th.

Download's second headliner will be confirmed tonight (October 20th) and the final one on Wednesday (October 21st).

The festival was headlined by Slipknot, Muse and KISS this year with the likes of Enter Shikari, A Day To Remember, Slash, Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch and Black Stone Cherry playing high-profile sets across the weekend.
