Johnny Marr to feature on new Noel Gallagher album Chasing Yesterday

Johnny Marr, former guitarist with The Smiths, will feature on Noel Gallagher's new album Chasing Yesterday. 

Marr, who released his latest solo album Playland (which you can preview on the right of the page) earlir this month, appears on a track titled 'Ballad Of The Mighty I'. 

Gallagher confirmed details of his new album earlier this week and has also released details of the album's deluxe edition. 

The album is the second the former Oasis guitarist has released under the name of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and will be preceded by a single titled 'In The Heat Of The Moment' on November 17th. You can hear that track at the bottom of the page. 

The LP will feature 10 tracks on the standard edition and 13 on the deluxe edition, including a new version of 'Freaky Teeth', which Gallagher played live on his last solo tour. 

Gallagher will tour the UK in March, playing five arena shows, you can find full details here.
