Major Lazer announce huge UK tour for October

Major Lazer have announced a huge UK tour for later this year.

The production trio who comprise Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, will play four shows in October. 

The dates kick off on October 14th at Birmingham's O2 Academy and wind up on London Alexandra Palace on October 17th. The tour also calls at venues in Glasgow and Manchester. 

The tour is in support of the trio's new album Peace Is The Mission. The album, which is the follow-up to 2013's Free The Universe (which you can preview on the right of the page), will be released on June 1st this summer. It includes nine tracks, including recent single 'Lean On', which is a collaboration with singer MØ and DJ Snake.

Also included on the album are Ellie Goulding, who guests alongside Tarrus Riley on a track titled 'Powerful', folk duo Wild Belle, who feature on opener 'Be Together', rising star Elliphant, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Ariana Grande, who features on a remix of 'All My Love', which recently featured on the soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One.
