Modest Mouse to release two new albums in quick succession
Modest Mouse are planning to release two albums in quick succession.
The Washington alt rockers will release their new album Strangers To Ourselves on Monday (March 16th), their first album in eight years, and, they will then follow it with a partner album.
Speaking to hmv.com in an interview to be published tomorrow (March 10th), frontman Isaac Brook about the band's plans he said: "I’m pretty far along with the next one as it is. I went in to making this one with two records in mind."
Then asked when that record would come out, Brock added: "It’ll be released as quickly as it’s legally allowed to be. It’s a partner to this one."
Modest Mouse will tour the UK in support of Strangers To Ourselves. They will play dates in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle in July as well as this summer's T In The Park Festival. To purchase tickets for the tour, click here.
