Mumford & Sons set to knock Blur off top of the album chart

Mumford & Sons look set to snatch the Number One spot in the UK Album Chart from Blur this Sunday (May 10th).

The band released their third album Wilder Mind (which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page) on Monday (May 4th) and are comfortably ahead of the Britpop icons in the midweek charts, with their new album The Magic Whip set to fall to Number Two.

Sia looks set for a bumper week with her album 1000 Forms Of Fear currently up 10 places at Number Three, ahead of Sam Smith, who is at Number Four with In The Lonely Hour and Ed Sheeran, who is at Number Five with X.

Rapper JME looks set to score his first Top 10 album with third album Integrity>, which is currently at Number Eight. Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Paul Simon and James Bay make up the rest of the Top 10.

Django Django look set to chart at Number 14 with new album Born Under Saturn, while Palma Violets currently look set to miss the Top 20 with their new record Danger In The Club, which is currently at Number 21.

In the singles race, OMI's 'Cheerleader' looks set to grab a second week at Number One, which is currently 5,000 sales ahead of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's 'See You Again'.
