Muse to headline Download Festival 2015
Muse have been announced as the second headliners of Download Festival 2015.
The trio, who are currently working on the follow-up to their 2012 album The 2nd Law, will headline the festival on June 13th next year.
The band will be joined on the bill by Faith No More, A Day To Remember and Marilyn Manson, who will headline the event's second stage.
Muse join Slipknot in headlining Download. Slipknot were announced yesterday (November 17th) and will headline the festival's opening night on June 12th. Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch and Black Stone Cherry are also confirmed for the same day at the festival. Judas Priest and Five Finger Death Punch will play under Slipknot on the Main Stage, with Black Stone Cherry headlining the second stage.
Download Festival will take place from June 12th to June 14th in 2015. The festival was headlined in 2014 by Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith, with Bring Me The Horizon, Alter Bridge, Fall Out Boy, Within Temptation and Rob Zombie also playing major sets across the weekend.
