My Record Collection by Indiana

In My Record Collection, we dig down to the bottom of musicians' souls to find out what the most treasured parts of their record collection are. This week, it's the turn of rising singer Indiana, who is currently preparing for the release of her debut album No Romeo. Let's see what she's picked out...

The first record I ever bought with my own money was…

"Now 29… just listened to it on Spotify. Not as good as I remember."

The record that made me want to become a recording artist was

"That would be Gabriel by Joe Goddard."

The record I've played more than any other is…

"At the moment it's Hozier - Take Me To Church."

The record that always make me feel good is…

"Recently I relived by younger years listening to Alanis Morrisette's Jagged Little Pill album. 'You Oughta Know' really makes me feels great still!"

The record I turn to when I'm feeling down is…

"Oasis - Champagne Supernova… it was played at my Dad's funeral. I couldn't listen to Oasis for a long time after he died but now it makes me feel like he's close by."

The record I think is the most underrated of all time is…

"I'd say it was Michael Jackson - Liberian Girl."

The record with my favourite cover art is…

"Prince - Purple Rain. It's incredible."

The record with my favourite title is…

"The record I can't understand why everybody loves is Cheryl Cole's new one, 'Crazy Stupid Love'. That sax is awful. I love sax too!"

The last record I bought was…

"That would be Michael Jackson - Xscape."

The record I'm most looking forward to hearing in 2014 is…

"Banks - Goddess. So much!"

The greatest record of all time is…

"I just can't answer this…. sorry!!!"
