New Order announce full details of new album Music Complete

New Order have announced full details of their brand new album Music Complete, their first new album in a decade.

The album is the band's first without long-time bassist Peter Hook and their first with keyboardist Gillian Gilbert since 2001's Get Ready. It will be released on September 25th.

Music Complete has largely been self-produced, but does feature production on two tracks from The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands and production on one track from Madonna/U2's Stuart Price.

The album, which is the band's 10th of their career so far, is their first for new label Mute Records. It features new bassist Tom Chapman, who had previously played with New Order frontman Bernard Sumner in Bad Lieutenant, taking over from Hook.

You can watch a short trailer for the album by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking. You can check out the band's earlier LPs here in our online store.
