Of Monsters and Men announce full UK tour and unveil new song 'I Of The Storm'
Icelandic indie types Of Monsters and Men have announced details of a full UK tour for later this year.
The band will play seven shows across the UK on the trek, kicking off on November 18th at Manchester Academy and ending on November 27th in Sheffield. The tour also includes dates in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, London and Newcastle.
The tour is in support of the band's new album Beneath The Skin, which is due out on June 8th. The album is the follow-up to their acclaimed 2011 debut LP My Head Is An Animal (which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page). The album was recorded with producer Rich Costey, who has worked with the likes of Mastodon, Muse and Death Cab For Cutie in the past. It was recorded in both the band's native Iceland and Los Angeles.
Tickets for the tour will go onsale on Friday (May 1st) at 9am and can be purchased here. The band are also confirmed to play London's Kentish Town Forum on June 16th, but that show is now sold out.
