Prince to release two new albums next month

Prince has announced that he will be releasing two new studio albums at the end of next month. 

The legendary funkster has confirmed that Plectrumelectrum, his collaboration with group 3rdEyeGirl, and a solo album named Art Official Age, will be released on September 29th in the UK and September 30th in the US and Canada. 

Art Official Age is billed as classic funk and soul album, and features previous singles 'Breakdown' and 'Brekfast Can Wait', which you can hear below. 

3rdEyeGirl consists of Donna Grantis (guitar), Hannah Ford Welton (drums) and Ida Nielsen (bass). 

The album will be released on Warner Brothers and marks the singer's first album for the label in 18 years.
