Sam Smith, Beyonce and Pharrell Williams rule the 2015 Grammys

Sam Smith was the big winner at last night's (February 8th) Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. 

Smith took home four awards at the ceremony, which took place at the Staples Center with LL Cool J acting as host. Smith won for both Best New Artist and Album Of The Year, while his single 'Stay With Me, was also named Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year.

Pharrell Williams also enjoyed an excellent night, taking home the gongs for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video for his mega-hit 'Happy' and Best Urban Contemporary Album for his album G I R L. 

Beyonce also fared well, winning three awards. She won both Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for her song 'Drunk In Love', which is a duet with husband Jay-Z, and she also scooped Best Surround Sound Album for her self-titled LP.

Beck won Best Album Of The Year for Morning Phase, which also won Best Rock Album. Among the other winners were Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and the soundtrack to hit movie Frozen, all of which received two awards, while the likes of Lady Gaga, A Great Big World and Clean Bandit all walked away with one award each.
