The Kills announce new album Ash & Ice, their first new LP in five years

The Kills have announced full details of their new album Ash & Ice. 

The album is the duo's fifth and their first since 2011's Blood Pressures, a delay that the band have put down to the band's guitarist Jamie Hince's five hand surgeries, which resulted in him having to re-learn how to play guitar with a permanently damaged finger.

It will be released on June 3rd and will be available to pre-order from hmv.com in the coming days. You can see the album's cover below:

Ash & Ice was produced by Hince with assistance from John O’Mahony, best known for his work with The Cribs and Metric. You can watch the video for the album's opening track 'Doing It To Death' at the bottom of the page. 

The band will preview the new album at an intimate show at London's Village Underground on May 4th. For ticket details on that show, click here.
