The Stone Roses announce three major UK shows for 2017

When pictures of lemons start appearing at Wembley Stadium, you know something's up – and sure enough, not long after the appearances of several large posters bearing the band's favourite fruit, yesterday Manchester legends The Stone Roses announced three major UK shows for next summer, one of which will take place on the hallowed turf at Wembley Stadium next summer on June 17th.

That's not all either; the band also unveiled details of two more UK shows for summer 2017, including a June 13th date at Belfast's SSE Arena and another on June 24th at Glasgow's Hampden Park.

There are also unconfirmed rumours doing the rounds that the band could be in the frame for a slot at Glastonbury next year, although the band have remained tight-lipped on the subject so far.

At any rate, tickets for the three shows above are due to go on sale at 9:30am on Friday 30th September – you can find more details on the band's website.
