Muse - Live at Rome Olympic Stadium

Captured at Rome’s Stadio Olmpico on 6 July 2013, in front of a crowd of 60,963 people, this is the Devon trio at their powerhouse best. A 13-track live album featuring blistering versions of ‘Knights Of Cyndonia’, ‘Uprising’ and ‘Hysteria’, this is one the world’s biggest bands on absolute top form.

 

Il Divo – A Musical Affair

The big-selling quartet present an album of renditions of tracks from classic musicals, including ‘Memory’, ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ and ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’

 

Rebecca Ferguson – Freedom

The 2010 X-Factor runner-up releases her second solo album today, complete with new single ‘I Hope’.

 

Britney Spears – Britney Jean

This is Britney’s eighth studio album and her first since 2011’s Femme Fatale. People have been gushing over single ‘Work Bitch’ and with the likes of William Orbit, David Guetta and former Swedish House Mafia man Sebastian Ingrosso among the writers, there’s sure to be plenty of big tunes.

Leona Lewis – Christmas, With Love

The former X-Factor champ releases her fourth full-length effort and her first Christmas album. Featuring renditions of festive classics like ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day’, ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Winter Wonderland’.

 

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Live From KCRW

The fourth live album in the long illustrious career of Nick Cave and his crew, this was recorded during a radio session and includes the likes of ‘Jack The Ripper’, ‘Wide Lovely Eyes’ and ‘Mermaids’.

 

Richard & Adam – The Christmas Album

This is the second album from Welsh operatic brothers Richard and Adam Johnson, who found fame after coming third on Britain’s Got Talent. Suitably festive with renditions of ‘Silent Night’ and ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’.

 

Jack Topping – Wonderful World

Jack Topping is an 11-year old Catholic choirboy from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Choir and this is his first record, an album of standards such as ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.

 

Kelly Clarkson – Wrapped In Red

Also Out This Week

Also putting out records this week are Kosheen who release their new album Solitude, Disney, who drop the new soundtrack to their animated flick Frozen and Jack Owen, who releases his new album Days Of Gold.
