Warpaint announce new album Heads up, hear the first single now

Warpaint have announced full details of their new album, which is to be titled Heads Up.

The album is the band's third full-length effort and the follow-up to their 2014 self-titled record. It will be available to pre-order on hmv.com in the coming days.

Heads Up has been produced by Jacob Bercovici, who worked with the band on their early Exquisite Corpse EP. You can see the album's artwork below:

You can hear the album's lead-off single, which is fittingly titled 'New Song', by scrolling down to the bottom and clicking.

Speaking about the band's new album, bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg said: "I feel really proud of what we made—almost surprised and shocked. When we were making it, I was like, ‘I wonder what this is going to sound like? How’s this going to come together?’ I love the way that it came together so nicely. I feel so proud of it, and like it’s an evolution of our band. It sounds like a mature version of Warpaint."

The tracklisting for Heads Up is as follows:

'White Out'
'By Your Side'
'New Song'
'The Stall'
'So Good'
'Don't Wanna'
'Don't Let Go'
'Dre'
'Heads Up'
'Above Control'
'Today Dear'
