Welcome to the new hmv.com

Hi there! We’re delighted to welcome you to the new, revamped, rejigged and reinvigorated hmv.com.

As you can see as you look around the site, we’ve shifted our focus and we’re now going to be bringing you a selection of great features, reviews, interviews and previews each and every day.

Right now, there are features about the possibility of new albums emerging from the likes of Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Metallica and lots of other huge acts in 2014. As well as this, there's also a guide to Bruce Springsteen's five best records, an exclusive interview with Of Mice & Men and our guide to the 31 acts we think are going to be huge in 2014

We’re also going to tapping into the tastemakers that we have in each and every one of our stores and bringing you a selection of recommends from our staff in our new ‘Staff Picks’ section. At the moment, they're bigging up the likes of Foals, Godzilla Black and The Joy Formidable as well as loads of other great albums. You can expect lots more in the future.

As well as this, we're also bringing you exclusive interviews from our P.As and instore appearances, you can check out chats with Tinie Tempah, Little Mix and James Arthur right here.

This also applies to Film and TV too, where you can currently find features on You're Next and Riddick, our guide to Noah Baumbach's back catalogue, our pick of the 10 best films about serial killers and why we think Dollhouse should be your next box set.

We've also got a great games section, where you'll currently find previews of 2014's biggest games, including Watch Dogs, Destiny and TitanFall.

As part of our new website, you’ll be able to preview all of the music we write about as you read and buy it right then and there thanks to our new digital downloads store. The store is also stocked with the back catalogues of thousands of artists, which you can preview and purchase at your leisure.

In time we will roll out more ways to buy across music, games, film, TV and Tech and we’ll keep you up-to-date with all developments.

We’re also going to be making the most of all the brilliant live P.A.s we have scheduled over the next few months. We have hundreds of instore appearances with your favourite bands; actors, authors and TV stars and we can’t wait to share them with you, with exclusive interviews and video features among our plans.

We hope you enjoy our new site and get stuck in to reading all our features. We’d love to get your feedback too, so please look us up on Facebook and on Twitter and tell us what you think.
