X-Factor boy band Stereo Kicks announce their split
Stereo Kicks have announced that they are to split up after just one single.
The eight-piece boy band, who reached the quarter finals on the 2014 series of The X-Factor, announced their split on Facebook over the weekend.
They said: "We all feel the time has come for us to now continue our journeys individually. We have learnt first-hand just how tough the industry is as an unsigned act. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, we are no longer able to carry on as a band."
They continued: "Please understand that there is nothing more that you could have done and that this is a situation completely beyond both your control and ours. We have considered endless ways of how we might try to make this work, but it is logistically impossible for us to continue as Stereo Kicks."
Stereo Kicks consisted of Barclay Beales, Chris Leonard, Tom Mann, James Graham, Reece Bibby, Jake Sims, Casey Johnson and Charlie Jones. They auditioned for the show separately, but were then put together into a group.
They released one single 'Love Me So', which charted at Number 31 and played a series of tour dates. You can purchase 'Love Me So' here in our digital store.
The group's final performance will be this Saturday (July 25th) at Thorpe Park. To read their split statement in full, click here.
