X-Factor winner Ben Haenow to feature Kelly Clarkson on new single, announces debut album release

Ben Haenow, winner of The X-Facotr in 2014, has announced his new single 'Second Hand Heart', a duet with Kelly Clarkson.

The singer's new single will be released formally on October 9th and comes a month ahead of the release of his debut album, which is due out on November 13th.

Speaking about the track, Haenow said: “The idea of a feature wasn’t on the cards at first but when I heard the vocals on it I was blown away as it gave the song a whole new dimension. Especially having Kelly Clarkson too. It’s incredible. Her voice is insane. I instantly knew this was the first single"

Clarkson added: "I fell in love with Second Hand Heart with the first listen! Lyrically and musically, it is right up my alley. I am excited and honoured to be a part of Ben's first single from his first album!"

The singer's debut album, the title of which has yet to be confirmed, will feature songs written with the likes of Steve Robson, best known for his work with Olly Murs and Take That, and Julian Bunetta, who has helped to compose some of One Direction's biggest hits.
