"I didn't know how Austria would react to a German playing one of their national heroes" - hmv.com talks to Daniel Brühl

Rush, the high-octane drama that tells the 1976 Formula One season and the rivalry between drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda, comes to DVD and Blu-Ray on Monday (January 27).

Ahead of the release we caught up with Daniel Brühl, who played Lauda in the Ron Howard directed film. In the interview, which is below, he talks about the gruelling process of making the film, his trips to Vienna in preparation and how nervous he was at the reaction in Austria that a German actor was playing one of their national heroes.

To celebrate the release of Rush, purehmv have a cool bundle available including a t-shirt, hat and James Hunt Zippo lighter up for grabs - click here to find out details on how to enter!
