Bad Boys 3 gets a brand new title and release date
The long-awaited third instalment of Bad Boys has a brand new title and release date.
The movie, which is to be directed by Joe Carnahan, best known for directing Smokin' Aces and the big-budget adaptation of The A-Team, is now titled Bad Boys For Life and will hit cinemas on January 12th in 2018.
This is the third delay to the movie's release. It was originally due to hit screens on February 17th 2017 before being moved to June 2nd 2017 and now to early 2018.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the delay will not affect a planned fourth instalment, which is still due to hit cinemas on July 3rd in 2019.
Bad Boys 2 was released in 2003 and grossed over $270 million at the box office, it was the second outing for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as trigger happy police detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey.
