Ben Affleck to executive produce DC's Justice League movie
Ben Affleck has expanded his role in the forthcoming Justice League movies after being named Executive Producer.
The movie, which unites Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Jason Momoa's Aquaman, is currently in production in London.
According to Deadline, producers Warner Brothers have made the move in order to give Affleck, who will play Batman, more control over the script and post-production and to offer support to direct Zack Snyder.
Justice League - Part 1 will open in cinemas on November 17th in 2017 with the second instalment set to follow two years later. J.K. Simmons and Willem Dafoe have both joined the cast, Simmons will play Commissioner Gordon, while Dafoe's role is as yet unknown.
The Flash and Aquaman will both get their own movies in 2018, while Cyborg will make his solo bow in 2020.
