Over the next two weeks, we're going to be previewing 100 of 2018's best movies. We continue with the comedies...

 

Game Night

Isle Of Dogs

Wes Anderson follows up the hugely acclaimed and highly decorated Grand Budapest Hotel with a trip to Japan.

In his new one, which returns to the stop-motion animation of Fantastic Mr Fox, we find ourselves in a dystopian future Japan in which dogs have been quarantined on the remote eponymous island due to a "canine flu".

We follow five local dogs named Chief, Rex, Boss, Duke, and King. They are fed up with their isolated existence until a boy named Atari Kobayashi ventures to the island to search for his dog, Spots. Together they set out to find him...
