Blade Runner 2 writer Michael Green signs up to write Wolverine sequel

Michael Green, screenwriter of the long-awaited sequel to Blade Runner, has signed up to write the script for the next Wolverine movie.

According to The Wrap, Green, who has previously adapted The Green Lantern, is currently working with director James Mangold to come up with the story for the movie, which is due for release in March of 2017.

The next Wolverine is likely to be Hugh Jackman's last appearance as the character. Jackman has played Wolverine seven times, playing the beclawed mutant in five X-Men movies and two stand-alone spin-offs, but dropped a big hint earlier this year that the next movie will be his last.
