Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Theory Of Everything dominate the 2015 BAFTAs

Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Theory Of Everything were the big winners at last night's BAFTAs.

 

Richard Linklater's epic coming of age story walked away with three awards at last night's (February 8th) ceremony in London, including the night's biggest prize of Best Film. It also picked up Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette and Best Director for Linklater. 

Eddie Redmayne took home the award for Best Actor for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything, with the film also picking up the award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Julianne Moore won her first honour in the Best Actress category for her role in Still Alice. 

The night's biggest winner was The Grand Budapest Hotel, which picked up awards for Original Music, Make-Up and Hair, Production Design, Original Screenplay and Costume Design. Other winners included J.K. Simmons, who won Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash, a movie which picked up a total of three awards, BiRDMAN, which won for Cinematography, The Lego Movie, which won Best Animated Film, and Interstellar, which won for Visual Effects. 

Unbroken and 71' star Jack O'Connell picked up the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
